What's in the Basket
It's a slow start to the season, but expect to find Radishes, Lettuce, Broccoli, Beets and a jar of our own salsa in the baskets this week. Family shares will have the same but larger quantities.
There will be other items available for purchase that we have limited quantities of (which is why they are not in the baskets this week) Don't forget CSA members get 10% off all purchases at the store!
Fruit shares will be local strawberries.
Meat shares will have the 2019 meat schedule in your first pick up bag.

What's Growing
We have many new and exciting things happening at The Farm this season. For starters, we purchased 46 acres of farmland in Woodbury that we plan on having another farm stand location at, as well as pick your own items! Fun for the kids and adults this summer! Headed into the fall, a corn maze and pumpkin patch as well as some other fun things are underway- it's going to be an exciting year for us!
As far as growing... the season got off to a late start with record rainfall in April and May- let's hope we break that pattern. Our fields are planted and everything is enjoying the light rain we have had this past week. What we really need now is it to feel like summer. A few hot nights will really kick things up a notch; this is such an amazing time of year for us to watch how our crops grow from seemingly just a mere patch of soil.
