If you can not pick up your share, you may designate someone else to pick up for you or it will be donated to the Woodbury Food Bank.

What's in the Basket

  • Lettuce

  • Broccoli Rabe

  • Summer squash and/or zucchini

  • Broccoli

  • Bok choi

  • White Lady Turnips

Dzen's berry farm surprised us with a late crop of strawberries! Fruit shares will be Strawberries, Cherries and Blueberries!

How to care for your farm produce

Broccoli should be stored in the fridge and can last up to 2 weeks.

Broccoli Rabe, Bok Choy and Lettuce should be washed upon returning home, wrapped in a dish cloth, and kept in the fridge. Both should be used within 3-4 days.

The turnip greens should be removed from the bottoms so they don't continue to draw moisture from the beets. The tops should be stored the same as the lettuce and are great sauteed! Turnip bottoms will last in the fridge up to 2 weeks- but will start going soft.

Summer Squash should be stored in the crisper section of the fridge for up to 5-7 days.
