Care for this week’s items
We were feeling like a little mango salsa! Hope you all give it a try!
Swiss Chard & Lettuce: Give a nice cold bath when you unpack it from the box- wrap in a dish towel and store in the fridge. All of the swiss chard is usable.
Mangoes- keep on the counter until reaches desired ripeness, then store in the fridge.
Cantaloupe- Same as the mangoes
Lime- Keep in the fridge
Jalapeno’s- Keep in the fridge. For a less spicy taste, remove the seeds and the white ribs but cutting down the middle lengthwise.
Cucumber- Store in the fridge
Tomatoes- Do not store in the fridge
Cilantro- Place stems in short glass of water and store in fridge.
